Please do take a look at the New Additions which include some truly rare items such as the 1939 Recreational map poster for The Berkshires, Toulouse-Lautrec’s L’Artisan Moderne poster before letters [one of only a couple of specimens extant], Le Corbusier’s first poster from 1938, Oskar Kokoschka’s Academy poster which is signed and numbered and finally the very rare Spratt’s Patent Foods two sheet poster, which while it is without signature I have identified as likely designed by Edward Penfield.

There are some wonderful and rare posters by
Cassandre and Broders as well as several English posters (Cunard/Boston to Europe and The Cornish Riviera) rarely seen. Even a New Zealand poster circa 1938 for the renowned Wanganui River. Finally, please do take note of Lili Jacobsen’s unique Wiener Werkstatte maquette (circa 1917/18) for a poster never issued. The artwork is both a black and white lithograph at the bottom text strip and the figure is colored with crayons.
